Shining under the Panamanian sky: the blue carpet of Premios Juventud 2025 at Multiplaza Panamá

September 25 became a date Panama will forever hold close to its heart. That night, our country became the first Central American nation to host Premios Juventud, one of the most widely watched events on Univision—a ceremony that brings together the most vibrant expressions of Latin music, style, and culture. And Multiplaza Panamá didn’t just witness this historic moment: it was a fundamental part of it.

From the arrival of the stars to the moment flashes captured every look on the blue carpet, the air was filled with excitement, pride, and an authentically Panamanian energy. Multiplaza joined forces as an ally of Bulova, the event’s official sponsor, to dress every step with style, innovation, and authenticity. It was on that blue carpet where outfits told stories—of identity, passion, and Latin royalty.

The magic of outfits on the blue carpet

The looks that walked the blue carpet were not just fashion—they were artistic statements. International artists such as Marc Anthony, Maluma, Wisin, Farruko, Camilo, Gloria Trevi, and Natti Natasha shined in pieces that blended creativity and trend, featuring avant-garde cuts, bold textures, and colors that celebrated the diversity of Latin culture.

But our own artists—Sech, Erika Ender, Omar Alfanno, Boza, Eddy Lover, Samy and Sandra Sandoval, Los Rabanes, Gaitanes, and Nando Boom—also left their mark. Each Panamanian outfit was an act of presence, a reflection of local talent worn with pride. There were fusions of elegance and tradition, modern touches with nods to our roots: embroidery, cuts inspired by the tropical climate, and colors that echoed the strength of the tropics. Panama wasn’t just wearing fashion— Panama was telling its story.

Multiplaza and Bulova: style that transcends

As part of this emotional moment, Multiplaza was present on the blue carpet with the Bulova Squad. Bulova watches—symbols of precision, understated luxury, and innovative design—accompanied every moment, every gesture. When these timepieces blended with suits, gowns, and accessories, a powerful synergy of elegance and modernity was created.

Multiplaza’s special coverage captured these moments: every glance in the mirror, every step on the carpet, every smile for the cameras. We brought our community closer to the heartbeat of the event, so they could feel that they, too, were part of that story—living a moment when Panama stood before the world and said, “here we are.”

Panama as a global stage

That night transcended art. The broadcast reached millions of homes across Latin America, the United States, and Europe, turning Panama into an international showcase for music, culture, and tourism. The economic impact was tangible: hospitality, transportation, gastronomy, shopping centers, local commerce, and the entertainment industry were energized, generating more than 2,500 temporary jobs and benefiting hundreds of families.

The event also left a lasting legacy: improved logistical standards, high-demand technical production, knowledge exchange, and technology sharing with international talent—strengthening the country’s entertainment industry. The Nation Brand, aimed at positioning Panama as a hub for tourism, culture, biodiversity, and investment, received an invaluable boost, projecting the country as a modern, vibrant, and safe destination.

Pride and legacy

That blue carpet wasn’t just for the cameras—it was for pride. It was proof that Panama has a voice, style, and art worthy of the global spotlight. Dresses, suits, jewelry, makeup, and accessories crossed trends and borders. Panamanian artists stood shoulder to shoulder with international giants, showing that the isthmus is a cradle of talent that resonates worldwide.

When Gloria de León, General Administrator of the Panama Tourism Authority, stated that Panama “has proven it can rise to the level of the most important international events,” she said it with conviction—because that night, we lived it, we witnessed it, and we felt it.
